Fall Break S.T.E.A.M. Camp 2023

For students currently in grades 1-6

S.T.E.A.M (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Math) is an exciting, ever-evolving part of education and the world around us. But kids don’t always get the chance to play and explore in these areas in a meaningful way beyond school. At Tutor Doctor Hawaii’s summer camp, students will have the chance to enrich their S.T.E.A.M. knowledge through fun, hands-on projects and activities.

Campers will encounter open-ended challenges and interactive projects that engage core S.T.E.A.M. principles while centering student imagination, curiosity, and enjoyment. They’ll get creative with a diverse range of materials and tools, and develop tangible skills in art, writing, and S.T.E.M.

From building robots and gadgets, to exploring print making and traditional dye techniques, to writing original stories and more, our goal is to inspire the next generation of innovators, problem solvers, and creative thinkers.

Join our S.T.E.A.M. TEAM – where learning feels like play!

Behavior Expectations

Tutor Doctor Hawaii upholds the fundamental principle that every individual should be treated with dignity, respect and care to allow the opportunity to learn in a safe, fun and caring environment free from inappropriate language and unsafe or unethical behavior.  Every student plays an important role in our camps, and we all must act in a manner that promotes care and mutual respect for each other.  The safety and well-being of each and every one of our students and team members are of our highest priority, and we kindly request that you please discuss these behavior expectations with your child.  In the event that a student behaves in a way that disrupts the camp experience for others or endangers other students or team members, parents will be notified immediately and students may be sent home.  Tutor Doctor Hawaii reserves the right to ask children not to return to the learning center if their behavior consistently and negatively affects other students and team members.  In this case, tuition fees will not be refunded.

All students and staff are required to stay home and not attend camp if they are feeling sick or showing symptoms of illness. This is a key step in keeping our center safe for everyone, and we kindly request for parents to assess their children before coming to camp.  If your child will be staying home and missing class for any reason, please report this to the office.
