SPRING BREAK S.T.E.A.M. CAMP 2022

Open to students in grades 1-6

STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math) is present everywhere, and it is a vital part of education. Our camps aim to nurture each child’s natural curiosity, inspiring the next generation of innovators and problem solvers through engaging, hands-on projects.

The Tutor Doctor Hawaii STEAM curriculum goes beyond traditional teaching methods. Through fun, interactive projects and exciting, open-ended engineering design challenges, students will learn how to apply their knowledge and skills by turning STEAM concepts into reality. Our new and improved projects (designed by expert engineers and tested by kids), give students the opportunity to safely work with real tools as they build their imagined vision. This improved curriculum also includes education in financial literacy, encouraging students to develop good money management habits as they budget their earned STEAM bucks to purchase materials from the Tutor Doctor Makery.

Our unique projects and activities have been designed for a mixed-age class, allowing students to work at their own pace and encouraging them to collaborate and learn from each other. From engineering and building gadgets, to exploring art mediums and writing fictional stories, students will grow their imagination, confidence, and problem-solving skills that will help them in the classroom and beyond!
