ACT Test Prep
Preparing for entrance exams can be a stressful process. Tutor Doctor Hawaii has the tools and the tutors to help make this process smooth and successful. In our test prep programs, students will learn test taking tips, ways to manage test anxiety, and provide ample opportunity to practice ACT style questions.
The ACT is an exam designed to measure college readiness. Most colleges require the ACT or SAT in conjunction with the student’s application.

Each of the four sections of the ACT are scored on a scale of 1-36. These scores are averaged for a total potential score of 36. The optional essay, scored on a scale of 1-12, does not factor into the composite score.
What Score Do You Need to Get Into College?
Each college has a different range of scores they will accept. Ivy League applicants score between 34-36, but many colleges accept students with score ranges between 22-30. No matter where you plan on applying your chances for admission and scholarships will improve by preparing for the ACT.
