Miss Georgia Goodell is an enthusiastic educator with years of experience tutoring students of all ages. While Georgia studied English Literature at Ohio University, she pursued her passion for teaching by tutoring students in math, science, reading, and writing. Georgia is our Learning Center and Tutor Manager and will be the friendly face to welcome you for your free assessments. She recently taught our summer STEM + Art camp at our learning center and also tutors some of our private tutoring students. She is a member of the Teach For America Corps and hopes to pursue a life-long career in education. Georgia is a very kind and patient tutor, and her passion for helping students is reflected in her teaching.

Miss Claire Wilcox is an accomplished poet and writer with over 10 years of experience publishing and performing original work. She is also an enthusiastic educator with many years of experience successfully tutoring and teaching English and writing, among other subjects, to students of all ages. She recently was one of our instructors at our STEM + Art camp over the summer at our learning center. Claire’s friendly and positive charm radiates through her teaching and further encourages students to want to continue learning with her.

Miss Courney Pagach moved to Honolulu from Columbus, Ohio where she attended Ohio University and received both a Bachelors in Moderate to Intensive Special Education and a Masters in Curriculum and Instruction. Courtney has had the opportunity to teach and tutor a variety of subjects from elementary to high school with great success. She recently taught the middle school STEM and math review class online with our contracted after school program, and she was one of our instructors at our learning center for our STEM + Art camp in the summer. Courtney is also our After-School Program Manager and tutors some of our private tutoring students.

Miss Sophie Cooperman is a patient, kind and enthusiastic educator. After graduating from the College of Charleston, Miss Sophie has worked with students, grades K-8, in both schools and clinics. Within these settings, Sophie has successfully taught and tutored many subjects to both special needs and neurotypical students. Over the last 4 years, Sophie has taught students with a variety of academic backgrounds and learning styles. Miss Sophie identifies her students’ needs and personalizes curriculum to help them reach their academic goals!

Miss Janell Alameida graduated from Chaminade University with a degree in elementary education and has since pursued her passion for teaching young students as a Hawaii State DOE substitute teacher and private tutor. She has had great success working with our elementary aged students by identifying their academic strengths and weaknesses to personalize their lessons. Her kind and encouraging nature makes tutoring comfortable and fun for our young learners, and they all look forward to their sessions with her.
